Crosby came home yesterday from 2 weeks of training. It was so hard to see him go for that long. I can attest that he has come home calmer and well behaved. Cameron and Ilsa are amazing at teaching the dogs that we put in their care. They took the time to send us daily progress texts as well as pics and Videos. Cameron and Ilsa are amazing! We hired them to train our two golden retrievers who both suffered from socialization issues. What age should my dog be to start training?
Dogs as young as 16 weeks can begin with our Puppy Training program. For other specific training services like Obedience and Behavioral Modification, dogs of any age are welcome. It's never too late to start!
How do you manage aggressive dogs in your Behavioral Modification program?
We use balanced training to bring a dog’s mind back to a calm, balanced state.
Where does the Board and Train take place?
The training takes place in our home to recreate everyday scenarios.
Do you only use treats to train reactive dogs?
No. We do not rely on positive reinforcement alone. Treats can be helpful, but real change comes from balance, structure, and clear boundaries.
Will my dog still be themselves after training?
Yes. Our goal is not to shut dogs down. We help them become calmer, more confident, and easier to live with.
Will my dog still snuggle after being trained?
Yes. In fact, they may even snuggle more. We use lot's of praise and physical touch while training, and we can even pull the dogs that don't love snuggles as much out of their shell.
